Lose Five Pounds – I actually lost six pounds…and then gained three back. Oops. This is what happens when you eat your feelings. I’m working on it.
Read Books – Success! I read six books last month. Here are a few of them.
Hit My Business Goals – I did it!
Read My Bible – I give myself a B+ on this one. I wasn’t as consistent as I wanted to be, but I am back on schedule.
So, what’s in store for this month?
Donate My Wedding Dress
There’s a local group that takes wedding dresses and makes them into beautiful gowns for infants who have passed away. All my dress is doing is taking up room in my closet. So if I can clear out some room and help someone else — it’s a no brainer. Now I just have to get it out the door, into my car, and dropped off.
10k Steps a Day, Five Days a Week
Instead of just saying, “lose five pounds,” I am going to try some specific health goals. The first just involves getting off my butt and moving on a regular basis. If that means I have to pace the halls while I read my book, so be it.
Drink Four Big Cups of Water a Day
I love water, but if I am not intentional about drinking it, I don’t get enough. Since I love my two cups of coffee a day (sometimes three), it’s especially important that I drink plenty of water. It’s so easy to drink water that I am kind of embarrassed that this is a thing. But…for me, it’s totally a thing.
Go to Bed With the Sink Empty
I hesitate to even type this one because I know it’s going to be the most challenging. I’ve failed at this one in the past. But our dishes are out of control, and our sink stresses me out.
