These days, there are a ton of options out there for those of us who want to print personalized photo cards or party invitations. You can get photo cards from big photo sites, all the way down to your local drugstore. With so many options out there, it can be really overwhelming when you sit down to put something together.

I am the type of person that likes to do something unique. I don’t want to send out the same photo Christmas card everyone else is sending. I want something classy (not corny) that people will love and keep long after the holiday or event is over. I mean, I’m spending money on this, right? I want it to be far too pretty to end up in someone’s trash can. And speaking of money, if I am spending money for personalized cards, I want them to be high quality. I’m not demanding at all, huh? Christmas CardThankfully exists for card snobs like myself. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous photo and personalized cards and invitations – seriously, this stuff is gorgeous. Because has designs from hundreds of independent designers, you can rest assured you won’t be getting some cookie-cutter Christmas card. The quality is great, too. In fact, you can select the type and thickness of your paper so you can get exactly what you want. This design to the left will definitely be my Christmas card next year, provided I can my children to look at the camera and smile at the same time. (These people did it; I don’t know why it’s so hard for us.) Journal

Minted isn’t just about cards, though. They have some of the most amazing journals I have ever seen, which is a big deal if you are a total writing and word geek like I am. They have journals you can personalize, and journals you can customize with photos. I really wish I would have had journals like these to catalog my white suburban teenage angst, rather than that busted Lisa Frank diary I was using. My angst still would have been insufferable, but at least it would have had a pretty cover. I really want to get this journal to the right to chronicle my white urban mid-thirties angst (“Dear Diary, How many days is it acceptable to wear the same pair of yoga pants? I’m asking for a friend.”)

But as much as I love the journals at, they are not even my favorite thing about the store. I am absolutely, head-over-heels in love with the collection of art prints featured on You can buy amazing photos and prints for your home, and some are even personalized for your family. I could look at all they have to offer for hours; it’s like my own little mini-Pinterest minus the cupcake recipes. I tend to fall in love with the profound quotes and sayings beautifully shaped into artwork (I’m a word-nerd, remember?). I really am in love with this “Let Your Light Shine” print, and I think that every writer probably needs this “Keep it Simple!” print over her desk. Or maybe just me… Prints Prints
