That’s what I heard from my three-year-old when I opened the box I received from Way Better Snacks. He loves chips, and he was thrilled to see that several bags had just arrived at our house. I wondered if he would stay that excited once he tasted them. Way Better Snacks are not like tortilla chips you’re used to. They’re vegan, gluten-free, GMO free, and several varieties are made from vegetables other than corn and they are all are made with sprouted seeds. Could I really get my son to eat a chip made out of black beans or sweet potatoes?
We opened up the bag of Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips, and my son let me have a few before he ran off with the bag. They were delicious! We ate them plain, no dip of any kind. The sweet potato gave them a unique flavor, but they were still enough like a “normal” chip to entice my son. I had to take the bag from him before he ate them all. They were that good.
The next day my husband grabbed a couple of bags to take to work. He texted me later in the day to tell me that the chips were “a big hit” and “a great conversation starter.” They disappeared quickly, and everyone wanted to know: “Where can I buy these?” Luckily, I was able to point my husband to the Way Better Snacks website, where you can shop online or find the store nearest to you that carries Way Better Snacks. We buy ours at Kroger, but you can find them in a wide variety of stores.
I’ve taken the chips to work as well, and shared them with friends, and over and over again people want to know more about them and where they can find them. People love the unique taste, and they are even more excited to find out that they are a healthy alternative to “regular” chips. My favorite way to snack with Way Better Snacks is pairing their Sweet Chili Tortilla Chips with some spicy three-pepper hummus. I also really love the Black Bean Tortilla Chips with roasted garlic hummus. All the varieties are excellent, whether you have something to dip them in or not.
Each serving of Way Better Snacks delicious chips contains healthy Omega 3 fatty acids, which keep your cells in great condition. The sprouted grains and seeds used to make each chip makes them more nutritious and easier for your body to digest. They live up to their name; they are way better for you than traditional tortilla chips, and I think they taste way better, too. Since receiving these chips to review, I’ve purchased several bags on my own because I like them so much. I recommend them to everyone I know, and I bring a bag along with some salsa or hummus to gatherings. I’m kind of in love with these chips, and I think you will love them, too.
I was provided with samples of Way Better Snacks for review. All opinions expressed are my own.
