Best of What's AroundI took a week off last week, but this week the Best of What’s Around is back. Here are some fabulous things that I found online this week. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do. As always, I want to know what you loved this week – even if you wrote it yourself. Self-promotion is welcomed and encouraged! Leave me a comment or contact me to let me know your favorites of the week.

Without further adieu…

The Best of What’s Around

How I Turned Vintage Square Dance Clothing Into Real Fashion Finds – The beautiful and fashionable Nedra of The Adventure Mom Blog did a great piece for Prime Parents’ Club about how she turned some clothing she found at a square dance clothing sale. Really! I’ve seen one of the shirts she purchased in person, and it is gorgeous. Note to self: go shopping with Nedra.

Pumpkin Spice Streusel Coffee Cake With Pumpkin Spice Caramel Drizzle – Ok, so I know I shared one of Heather’s posts last time, but this cake she posted on Basilmomma looks absolutely delicious. Pumpkin. Cake. Caramel. And the recipe is easy enough that even a baking-challenged person like myself could make it. I am actually a little afraid to try this one, because I am trying to eat healthier…and I think if I bake this I will eat the whole thing myself.

Toilet Rings (Not What You Think) – This hilarious story from Jackie of WritRams will definitely make you giggle. I can relate, can you? Have you ever had to fish anything out of the toilet for your child? I was a witness to this event, and trust me, it was funny. (because it didn’t happen to me!) But yesterday my son dipped my toothbrush into a tub of diaper cream, so…no judgement.

Show these talented ladies some love. And if you make that coffee cake, send me a piece. Seriously.
