It’s official. I live in a house of Monster Truck addicts.Family Fun at the 4 Wheel Jamboree

We attended the Lucas Oil 4 Wheel Jamboree on Saturday, and as soon as we walked through the gate at the fairgrounds, my son was screaming “Awesome!” There were trucks everywhere, and my boys were in heaven. We brought my best friend’s daughter, and she loved the trucks, too! The kids loved being able to get up close and personal and see all everything. They also enjoyed watching the trucks in action. We posed for lots of pictures, and they each went home with a toy monster truck of their own. My youngest is even sleeping with his at night.

Yay! Monster Trucks!

Unfortunately, we had to cut our day short and I missed the part of the Jamboree I was most looking forward to, riding in Sergeant Smash. My youngest started to feel warm, and I was pretty sure he had a fever (I was right!). We didn’t get to have that experience, but I heard from my friend the Average Parent that it was amazing! However, since my little guy ended up losing his lunch on the way home, I’m pretty sure we made the right decision.

My oldest is once again asking me every day when we get to go back to see the monster trucks again. I haven’t even mentioned my husband, who was like a kid all over again looking at all the big trucks. I hope the 4 Wheel Jamboree comes back to Indianapolis again, because we really had a great time, and I’d love for my youngest to fully experience all it had to offer. I also want my Sergeant Smash ride!
