Sometimes I wonder if outsiders are aware of all the awesome things Indiana has to offer. Did you know there are 63 wineries in Indiana that produce over 1.25 million gallons of wine a year? Who knew?

Here in Indianapolis, we will have the opportunity to sample wine from 26 Indiana wineries at the Vintage Indiana Wine Festival, Saturday June 2, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be live music, a KidZone, and lots of delicious wine! Here’s the details about the event:

What: Vintage Indiana 2012

When: Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Where: Military Park, Downtown Indianapolis

Cost: Presale tickets are $22 and are available at Marsh Supermarkets or on the Vintage Indiana website. Tickets are $25 at the gate.

Kids: Kids under 6 are free. Kids ages 6-20 are $5.

Concert Lineup:

  • Mike Milligan and Steam Shovel (12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.)
  • Jennie DeVoe (2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
  • Casey James (5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.)
