So, if you follow me on Twitter, you know that I am very pregnant. And very whiny. I am ready to have this baby! I love being pregnant, but I have officially reached the phase of pregnancy known as “uncomfortable.”

One of the discomforts that comes along with being this pregnant is, well…peeing your pants. I’m not talking a full on pants-wetting, Billy Madison style, but just enough to be uncomfortable and annoying. Know what happens when something the size of a melon is using your bladder as an ottoman? You laugh…and pee. You cough…and pee. You sneeze…and pee. Heaven forbid you get a cold!

That’s why I was so excited to try the STRIDE Everyday panties. STRIDE Everyday panties are made for those of us in a season of our lives where we’re dealing with occasional…well, you know. They use a technology called Oquos to absorb moisture and wick it away from the body, so you can feel comfortable the whole day without having to mess with pantiliners. STRIDE panties were developed by Wendy Spencer, who is a mom just like you and me. She realized what I have realized…pregnancy can change things down there! So she created a panty to help with light incontinence that is also fashionable.

Last week, I tried out the STRIDE Everyday Seamless Panty in Nude. I have to admit, I was worried about getting a pair of granny panties, but the STRIDE Panty was really cute, and you couldn’t tell it was anything other than a pair of underwear. The fit was great, and the moisture protection…I can’t say enough about it. It was excellent. For me, the only downside of STRIDE was that my big pregnant belly kept pushing the waistband down. I would love to see STRIDE develop a maternity panty.

Even with all that fancy Oquos technology, STRIDE panties are machine washable. The cost is a little more than I normally pay for one pair of panties, but when I factored in the money spent on feminine products, it was really a good deal. Plus, you’re keeping all those pads and pantiliners out of landfills.
