If you have a Once Upon a Child store in your area, you need to go there. Like, now. Once Upon a Child is a great place to find clothes, toys, and necessities. The items are gently used, but everything I have ever purchased there has been in great condition. They also buy your gently used kid’s stuff.

If you are like me, you love the adorable clothes from places like Baby GAP and Children’s Place, but can’t rationalize paying those prices for something your child is inevitably going to spit up on. That’s why I love OUAC. The adorable Baby GAP onsie I put my son in yesterday only cost $5.50, so I didn’t feel too bad when he peed on it. Occasionally you can find things with the original tags still on! This is like winning the baby clothes lottery (ok, maybe just for me).

For those of you in the Indianapolis area, check out the clearance sales going on right now. My local store (86th and Ditch) has all of their clearance items buy 1 get 2 free. I got a big bag of clothes and shoes for my munchkin for under $30 – including Carter’s, GAP, Old Navy, and two pairs of Nikes! You can’t beat that!
